How it works
RRA600 doesn’t wait for an incident to happen. It’s an active system that continuously monitors oncoming driver behaviour, identifies risk, and alerts the officer or roadworker in real time, giving them a window to react before danger arrives.
Built on algorithms developed and validated across more than 20,000 real-world traffic management set-ups, the RRA600 is an important addition to PPE. It is not a replacement for it, but a proven layer of active protection.
The vehicle-mounted radar assesses tracked vehicles 10 times a second, evaluating a vehicle’s position, speed and movement to determine the risk of incursion. Operating in all weather conditions, day and night, when the system identifies a risk, the connecting wearable alarm alerts the roadworker, giving them up to seven seconds to move to safety.

Directly supporting its Road to Zero Harm initiative, the RRA600 is currently being deployed across the entire National Highways Traffic Officer Service fleet.
